Description

This chewing gum is completely plastic free and biodegradable. Where most chewing gums in stores are made from synthetic gum base containing harmful chemicals and rubber, mastic gum is sourced straight from the hives of European honeybees. While most gums will stick to pavement and public amenities for years, beeswax dissolves and degrades quickly when exposed to the elements. 

It is completely free of additives and has little to no flavor. It is not meant to be swallowed, but is digestible. If you chew the same gum for over an hour or two, or consume a drink while chewing, it will dissolve right in your mouth. However, the chewing experience is best if you discard of the gum once you are bored or tired of chewing, and don't reuse the gum afterwards.

Beeswax gum is very gentle. It is much less tough to chew than our mastic gum and thus a great way to idly chew without tiring out your jaw. The great benefit of beeswax is that it freshens up the mouth by providing a medium for all the dirt and odors to get trapped in. If there is any dirt in your mouth, it will prefer to stick in the wax, rather than on your teeth. After just a few minutes of chewing, you can spit out the wax and enjoy a fresh odorless mouth.
