Description
This chewing gum is completely plastic free and biodegradable. Where most chewing gums in stores are made from synthetic gum base containing harmful chemicals and rubber, mastic gum is sourced straight from the tree. While most gums will stick to pavement and public amenities for years, mastic gum dissolves and degrades quickly when exposed to the elements.
The flavor somewhat resembles pine and will last until the gum fully degrades. It is not meant to be swallowed, but is digestible. If you chew the same gum for over two days, or consume a drink while chewing, it will dissolve right in your mouth. However, the chewing experience is best if you discard of the gum once you are bored or tired of chewing, and don't reuse the gum afterwards.
Mastic gum is quite a bit tougher than the gum you might be used to, so a smaller amount needs to be ingested to exercise the jaw.
Why chew mastic gum?
1. It is all natural. This makes it a healthy and sustainable choice.
2. Since this gum is 100% biodegradable, it will not pollute your surroundings like other gums which tend to get stuck on stone and wood for years.
3. This gum never loses its subtle flavor.
